Easybeats (Sydney, Australia)


Since today is Friday and I have the weekend on my brain, here are the Easybeats. The Easybeats are regarded as one of the greatest Australian bands of all time, as well as the first Rock And Roll band from Australia to gain international success with their single "Friday On My Mind". This song has been covered countless times from everyone from Peter Frampton to David Bowie.

After their 1969 breakup, rhythm guitarist George Young went on to produce 7 albums for his younger brother's band known as AC/DC.
